No matter where I ride or the route that I take for practice, pedaling monotonously a round the countryside can not hide the banal weather. Spring rides bring cloudiness, wind, or sun with wind. Very few days can be found absolute!

My days on the bike are blended. I finish the day thirsting for the next ride. Sunday I squeezed in a ride. An hour is not enough but I rode on my own volition. This weekend I will be hitting the single track trails of Cable. The off-road classic typically brings cold and rain that will challenge even the best conditioned rider. Oh boy oh boy oh boy! Stoked to be riding in the woods doesn’t give justice to how I feel! Stay tuned…

On Saturday morning, 12:13 am to be exact, our good friends Luke and Renee became parents of healthy and beautiful Kailer Horton Barth. We are all happy for the both of you!

This Saturday Nikole will be grabbing her Master Degree at UWEC. She has put a ton of work into this degree and she deserves it. She’s my rock star. I know I know…she walks on Saturday and I’m racing instead. I got an ear full from my mom already. I will make it up to her on Sunday when we party it up with our friends and relatives.
