Our Memorial weekend was fairly laid back and spent catching up on some much needed R&R. We spent the time lakeside at my parents place simply chillaxin and sleeping. Days, let a lone weekends like that are far and few between for us. I did get out and rode some sweet single track around the Mosquito Brook trail head. But with this type of weekend, 25 miles of biking is too much.
It’s been back on the bike and getting into the groove of practice this week. The Big Ring Classic is on the tap for this weekend. Its the first WORS race of the year for me and it will guarantee to be a fast and tough race.
Nikole and I decided to jump on the kid bandwagon (seeing as all our friends are either newlyweds or new parents) and before we new it a little handy prego test told us that we are pregnant….I mean Nikole is pregnant. It’s early, two months to be exact, but we are excited and prayerful that all things work out just fine. We were planning for this and now we have January 13th pegged as the date for the arrival of our little human!
Off to the races…literally and figuratively!
