Days Of Old

Hello my friends.  It has been too long and for that I must apologize.  I’ve been on the bike consistently and I have also been off the bike consistently.  School, finals, school, a boy names Ayden, and a wife named Nikole and been getting all my attention these past few weeks.  Of course that is a good thing.  When I’m on the other side of this school stuff I will dust off the bike and get back on top and ride.  Oh how I yearn for single track and muggy weather.

Nikole finished up school last week.  It is great for her to be back home with Ayden.  Now their only worries are how are they going to spend each day.  Last month Nikole, Amy, and Steph ran the Green Bay 1/2 marathon.  All three had great races and did better than what they thought.   It was a fun day and interesting to be on the spectator side of a race for once.  Ayden and I are proud of mom. Nikole enjoyed it so much that she signed up for the Chicago 1/2 in August.  I do not know what she is thinking.

Ayden is growing.  We are closing in on 5 months.  Last week I was gone for five days and couldn’t believe how much he changed.  He is no longer an infant but rather a little human with a big head.  He is really developing a personality that makes us want to catch every moment.  In fact he has learned to start using his voice to get what he wants from mom and dad.  That is scary.  The highlight for him is that he was Baptized on May 31st.  As a friend of mine always says “it was a glorious day.”
