RIP Poopie

So we THOUGHT that it would be fun to get Ayden a fish and two frogs.  They told us at the store that it would be really super easy to maintain and that our son would enjoy years of having this fish and two frogs.

Fast forward seven days.  We lost Clifford just three days due to a fungus.   Nikole ran to the pet store and they handed her this $12 bottle of solution that we are to put into the bowl.  Each day we are to empty half of the bowl, refill it with new water and then put a full cap of this solution into the bowl.

We thought that all this tedious work was working.  Well, two days later Potty bit the dust.  The next day we went out and bought another Beta to replace Clifford with.  The following day after that Poopie passed away.

In seven days we have lost one fish, two frogs, bought another fish, bought salt tablets, bought chemical drops, bought different food, and spent hours emptying-filling-emptying-and filling the bowl.  What are we left with?  One fish that is covered in the fungus (again), many wasted hours, and $67 less.

Conclusion – dogs are way easier.
