Twin Six

It’s fun to read the blogs of pro-riders this time of year.  Most riders are finishing up their first block of base training and are actually traveling a bit to get in some very early season racing.  But one thing I notice this time of year is that many are blogging about how their “sponsorships are coming together for the season.”  So I think cool…I wonder.

This winter I decided to contact some of my favorite bike companies and see what it would take to get sponsored as well as promote their products.  First up, TWIN SIX.  I contacted Ryan Carlson and before I knew it he was hooking me up with a great sponsorship.  So now I got the apparel and gear that should make me look fast at the starting line.  Seriously…it’s LEGIT

So what is TWIN SIX….

“First and foremost we are two designers who love to ride and believe that the time is overdue for better cycling jersey graphics. We are Twin Six, the graphic revolution in cycling apparel. It is our goal to be the alternative to everything else.

The gear we pull on is a statement of our style, identity and self. The industry’s slow uphill grind to better graphics has turned riders into unwilling billboards, moving color explosions and unfortunate cartoon characterizations. Twin Six has seen enough.

Twin Six jerseys carry graphics with a fashion DNA. Styles that spring from real graphic trends, not the predictable regurgitation of last year’s predictable regurgitation. Twin Six is two determined graphic doing what we do best, so we can finally ride with pride.”

Their gear and apparel are for racers, weekend warriors, and those just looking for some sweet t-shirts.  Go HERE and check em out!

So I guess I can say – the sponsorships are coming together pretty well for the 2011 season.
