….but not from my race.  Saturday was the Longfellow Puddle Jump and the Durand Road Race.  Nikole ran the 5k race and I rode in Durand.  Nothing unusual about the day…except.

After Nikole’s race there was a kids 1k race.  Ayden saw the kids lining up and wanted to be a part of it.  And that as the last of it.  Ayden raced his first 1k race. He came in dead last and loved it.  In fact, it sounded like he was more into the people who were cheering for him.  He ran the whole 1k and only took one digger.

After the race Nikole couldn’t get him into the car seat because he wanted to “race more.”  So now I guess there will be weekends where the three of us have a race.
